Built for hobbyists who take pride in their work, the Norwood LumberMan® MN26v2 handles logs up to an impressive 26” in diameter (66cm) and mills boards up to 19” wide (49cm).

The backbone of any sawmill is its sawhead. The LumberMan MN26v2 boasts the same patented laminated sawhead that’s at the core of all Norwood bandmills – the proven durable design that can withstand the everyday rigors of heavy milling. It’s not enough for the LumberMan to be able to just handle logs bigger across than oil barrels. You’ve got to maximize cuts per hour. Which is why the LumberMan MN26v2 is engineered to mill with faster cycle-times using patented Norwood technology like auto-locking sawhead and available optional auto-lube.

The LumberMan MN26v2 is a user-friendly sawmill for first-time sawyers. The auto locking sawhead is a Norwood patented feature that allows you to adjust the sawhead height efficiently, without require unlocking and locking, so you can spend more time milling and less time adjusting. The heavy-duty centrifugal clutch safely engages the blade when you depress the push-handle-mounted throttle lever.

The LumberMan MN26v2 portable sawmill’s solid frame is a rigid 4-post carriage design which delivers superior stability and performance over torsionally weaker 2-post or cantilevered systems. This means straighter and smoother cuts for the sawyer. Dual fixed precision-machined and hardened blade guides support accurate cuts as wide as 19” (49cm).

The dual vertical-adjust, 3-function log rests optimize clamping of saw-logs, cants and boards. Also included is a screw-crank log-dog as standard equipment. Standard-equipped blade lubrication helps keep blades pitch-free. Available optional auto-lube system automatically turns water on and off each cut.

There are many ways you can customize your LumberMan MN26v2 to suit your milling projects perfectly. Want to take your sawmill on the road to mill off-site? No problem! The Norwood LumberMan MN26v2 has an available optional trailer system. For perfect log-deck alignment, the LumberMan MN26v2 has available optional ten micro-adjust leveling stands.

Huge Capacity Maximizes Your Output
The Norwood LumberPro® HD36 sawmill’s appetite for massive logs up to 36” (90cm) in diameter combined with its best-in-class throat-opening of 28” (70cm) give you the power to mill virtually any hardwood or softwood tree into valuable lumber.

Cutting-Edge Innovation
The LumberPro HD36 has been aknowledge to be the strongest, the most productive, and the easiest-to-use sawmill.

Super-Duty Construction
The LumberPro’s wide-track log deck built of twin double-plated commercial-grade-steel rails is the strongest because of the way it’s formed—400-ton press-formed strengthening debossments boost rigidity and strength. What’s more, the boxed front and rear end-frames are extra-rigid structures that provide added strength and torsional stability.

The LumberPro’s rigid 4-post carriage frame is fortified with structurally-engineered and reinforced 2” x 5” (5cm x 12.5cm) precision-extruded vertical guides, and heavy-gauge 2½” structural tubular-steel rear vertical mounts and front horizontal stabilizer bar. The LumberPro HD36’s solid 4-post frame effortlessly manages higher load inputs to mill with accuracy and control.

Ultimate Versatility – Manual to Hydraulic
The LumberPro HD36 has a broader selection of optional attachments than any other sawmill on the market. Super-productive even in its stock manual configuration, you’re free to step up its output and performance even more with yield-boosting attachments. And you’re free to choose when, and how.

Start very affordably with standard stationary LumberPro HD36. Then, build up your Pro as your milling operation grows, adding hydraulic or manual log loaders, log turner, toe boards, power feed/power setworks, etc… Add them anytime—one-at-a-time or several at once.

New Norwood Sawmills Lumbermate LM29V2 for sale in the UK

Own one from £15 per week – Find out more

The Norwood LumberMate® LM29v2 ’s healthy appetite for hardwood and softwood logs up to 29” (72cm) in diameter combined with its 22” (55cm) throat opening, give it the muscle to tackle most milling needs. And it’s so easy to use that even first-time sawyers get to milling like seasoned pros in no time.

Fully-customizable, the LumberMate LM29v2 keeps all your options open – Add available attachments at any time to meet your growing sawmilling needs, like extensions to mill longer logs, trailer system to tow your sawmill from woodlot to woodlot, log loading/rolling system, toe boards, board offloading rollers, lap siding/shingle making jigs, etc.

Your sawmilling career is just beginning. There’s a good chance your operation will grow over time. With the LumberMate LM29v2 , your sawmill will grow with you.

With more portable sawmill patents than all the other portable sawmill companies around the world combined, Norwood is the proven global leader in sawmilling technology. The LumberMate LM29v2 is equipped with some of Norwood’s latest ground-breaking advancements in sawmill innovation including Norwood’s patented auto-locking sawhead and laminated sawhead technologies.

The patented Norwood sawhead friction-winch system delivers easy, effortless vertical sawhead operation. Auto-locking sawhead eliminates two time-consuming operations at every cut – the LumberMate LM29v2 looks after locking and unlocking the sawhead for every board you mill. That saves hours of wasted time and increases your production.

With the Smooth Sawhead Feed, you can guide the sawhead through the cut with finger-tip pressure. This allows you to judge the best speed for smooth cuts through knots and denser core wood. No arm-numbing cranking. The Comfort-Height Operator’s Station, standard on the LumberMate LM29v2 , gives you the convenience and comfort of the ergonomic tilt operator’s station (because you’re going to want to be spending a lot of time at your mill)! The built-in sawdust exhaust is located on the far side of mill away from you – not at your feet and in your shoes like other sawmills.

The standard blade lube system keeps the saw blade pitch-free in softwoods, by delivering water directly to the blade at the point of entry into the cut. Large custom-molded water bottle with a wide-mouth filling port for easy refilling. An optional auto-lube system to automatically turn the flow of water on and off also available.

Like all forestry equipment bearing the Norwood name, the LumberMate is protected by industrial-grade powder-coat – electrostatically-applied, thermoset polymer cured under heat to create a hard finish which is much tougher than the old-fashioned spray paint used by other companies which is more prone to premature rust, chips and scratches.

Quality-built in the U.S.A. and Canada by highly-trained, highly-skilled operators with leading-edge fabrication and machining technologies, the LumberMate LM29v2 , like all Norwood portable sawmills, is built rugged to accurately cut hundreds of thousands of board-feet of valuable lumber day-in and day-out.

Norwood has earned the reputation as the brand-name you can trust – a reputation for building hard-working, reliable, productive, affordable and easy-to-use machines. In fact, it’s the tens of thousands of Norwood sawmills cutting millions of board-feet of lumber in over 100 countries worldwide that have earned Norwood this reputation.

Norwood began 25 years ago with one man’s dream to build a quiet lakeside cabin. But Norwood founder, Peter Dale, couldn’t afford the high prices at the lumber yard. He looked at milling his own, but couldn’t believe the high prices expected by sawmill companies.
That was the first time many hardworking people could afford a portable sawmill (sawmills) of their very own. Families built homes they had only ever dreamed of. Wood workers milled speciality lumber products and crafted unique and valuable furniture. People made money selling their lumber and milling for others. The LumberMate revolutionised the world of portable sawmills, and in doing so, changed the lives of thousands of families.

To this day, Norwood is still rooted in those same values – to engineer and build portable sawmills (sawmills) and forestry equipment that are rugged, productive, dependable, versatile and affordable. Norwood owners count on their machines to get the job done, every day.
