Engine & drive

The Eliet Prof 6 Tracked is powered by a commercial petrol engine, commonly specified with a Briggs & Stratton Vanguard V-Twin around 18 hp. This engine provides reliable power for long working days while maintaining efficient fuel consumption.

The machine uses independent hydraulic track drive, allowing each track to rotate separately. As a result, the shredder achieves excellent manoeuvrability when navigating narrow spaces or rough ground.

Because each track can move independently, operators can pivot the machine easily while maintaining traction on slopes, woodland paths, or uneven terrain.

Shredding system

The Eliet Prof 6 Tracked uses Eliet’s 4S shredding principle — shredding, splitting, speed, and smart discharge. Branches are split before being shredded, so the cutting action follows the natural grain of the wood.

Consequently, the machine produces BioTech chips with a fibrous structure that decomposes quickly. These chips are ideal for composting or for use as mulch and soil improvement.

The cutting rotor uses professional hardened shredding blades, designed to withstand heavy workloads and long operating hours.

Turbo discharge system

A defining feature of the Prof 6 range is the Turbo Discharge™ system. A suction turbine creates a vacuum effect that pulls green waste into the cutting chamber.

Once shredded, material is blown through the discharge chute by the powerful airflow produced by the 325 mm blade turbine. Therefore, airflow continuously clears the rotor housing and clogging becomes extremely unlikely.

The blow chute rotates up to 280° and reaches approximately 1.8 metres discharge height, allowing chips to be directed easily into trailers or collection areas.

Infeed system

The V-safe infeed hopper guides branches and pruning waste safely into the shredding system. Its shape allows larger bundles of material to be fed quickly while maintaining safe feeding angles.

Because the turbine airflow draws material into the rotor, feeding effort is reduced. As a result, operators can maintain higher productivity during continuous work.

Frame / chassis / build

The Eliet Prof 6 Tracked is built for cross-country operation. The tracked undercarriage improves traction on soft ground, muddy areas, and slopes where wheeled machines may struggle.

Tracked drive also allows easier loading and unloading onto trailers or transport vehicles. Consequently, the machine saves time during transport and site logistics.

The discharge chute is manufactured from smooth corrosion-resistant synthetic material, which reduces airflow resistance while also helping prevent blockages.
