Eliet Prof 6 Towed Shredder
Professional green waste shredding with Eliet’s 4S BioTech system and high-output discharge turbine.
Engine & drive
The Eliet Prof 6 uses a commercial-grade petrol engine designed for long daily operating cycles. UK models are typically fitted with a Briggs & Stratton Vanguard V-Twin engine around 18 hp, providing strong torque for consistent shredding performance.
Power transfers through a heavy-duty belt drive to the rotor system. As a result, the machine maintains efficient cutting performance while protecting the drivetrain from shock loads created by tough material.
An optional ABM system (Anti-Block Motor) monitors engine speed and automatically regulates feed speed. Consequently, the system prevents overloading and reduces the chance of blockages during demanding work.
Shredding system
The Eliet Prof 6 uses Eliet’s well-known 4S shredding principle (Shredding, Splitting, Speed, and Smart discharge). Because branches are first split before shredding, the machine cuts along the grain of the wood. Therefore, the resulting chips have a fibrous structure that decomposes quickly.
The rotor uses specially designed long-life hardened blades, engineered for professional workloads. These blades maintain sharp cutting performance even when the machine operates for extended periods.
Eliet’s Turbo Discharge system adds a powerful suction turbine that pulls material into the rotor and then blows the processed chips out through the discharge chute. As a result, airflow continuously cleans the system and clogging becomes extremely unlikely.
Infeed system
The V-safe infeed hopper allows larger bundles of pruning waste to be fed quickly and safely. Its specially shaped design guides branches toward the cutting system while helping reduce the risk of kickback.
Because the suction effect from the turbine pulls material toward the rotor, feeding effort is reduced. Consequently, operators can maintain productivity throughout long working sessions.
Frame / chassis / build
The Eliet Prof 6 Towed Shredder mounts on a robust road-tow chassis designed for transport between job sites. The machine includes a rotating blow chute capable of turning up to 280°, which makes it easier to direct shredded material into trailers or designated areas.
The blow chute has a discharge height of approximately 1.8 metres, allowing chips to be discharged into higher containers. The chute is also manufactured from corrosion-resistant synthetic material, which keeps airflow smooth and reduces clogging risk.
The overall design focuses on durability while still allowing easy access to service components.
Comfort & maintenance
Eliet designed the Prof 6 under its FAST PITSTOP maintenance concept, meaning critical maintenance points are accessible quickly and often without tools.
Because panels and access points open easily, operators can perform daily inspections and maintenance tasks rapidly. As a result, downtime remains low and the machine can stay productive during demanding workloads.
The efficient airflow system also helps keep the rotor housing cleaner during operation, which further reduces maintenance time.
Why choose Eliet Prof 6?
Choose the Eliet Prof 6 when you need a high-output professional shredder capable of handling continuous daily workloads. While smaller garden shredders suit occasional use, this model is built specifically for professional contractors.
Because it combines the 4S shredding system, Turbo Discharge airflow, and optional ABM anti-block technology, it delivers fast processing and reliable performance even when dealing with larger volumes of green waste.
