Engine & drive

The FSI T65 runs directly from the tractor via a 540 rpm PTO, so it uses the tractor’s power instead of a standalone engine. Because of this setup, maintenance stays simpler while still delivering strong and consistent output.

FSI recommends the T65 for tractors in the 50–100 hp range. As a result, it suits operators who need serious grinding performance for larger stumps and higher workloads.

The drive system transfers power efficiently to the cutting wheel, while also handling heavy load conditions during demanding grinding tasks.

Cutting head

The FSI T65 features a large cutter wheel fitted with the FSI 25 tooth system, which is designed for aggressive cutting and efficient chip removal.

Hydraulic sweep and lift functions control the cutter head. Therefore, the operator can grind across a wide working area without repeatedly repositioning the tractor.

The grinder offers a large working envelope, reaching approximately 90 cm above ground level and around 50 cm below ground level. Consequently, it removes both large stumps and deeper root systems effectively.

Because of the wide sweep capability, productivity increases significantly on larger jobs.

Frame / chassis / build

The FSI T65 mounts to the tractor via a Category II or Category III three-point linkage, providing a stable connection for heavy-duty work.

The machine uses a robust steel frame designed for professional use. In addition, the rear-mounted configuration allows the tractor to provide stability during grinding operations.

Because the grinder attaches directly to the tractor, transport between sites becomes quick and straightforward.

Comfort & controls
