Engine & drive

The FSI T25 PTO operates directly from the tractor’s power take-off rather than having its own engine. Because of this design, it uses the tractor’s power and fuel supply, which reduces maintenance and simplifies operation.

FSI typically recommends the T25 for tractors producing approximately 20–40 hp. As a result, it works well with compact and utility tractors commonly used in arboriculture, landscaping, and estate maintenance.

The grinder connects through the 540 rpm rear PTO, which transfers power to the cutting wheel through a robust drive system. Therefore, operators can achieve consistent grinding performance without the complexity of an additional engine.

Deck / working head

The FSI T25 PTO uses a heavy-duty grinding wheel equipped with replaceable carbide teeth. These teeth cut efficiently into hardwood and softwood stumps while maintaining durability during regular professional use.

Because the machine works with a manual swing movement, operators can sweep the grinding wheel across the stump gradually. As a result, material removal remains controlled and precise.

The grinding head allows the operator to work both above and below ground level, which helps remove the stump completely before backfilling.

Frame / chassis / build

The FSI T25 PTO mounts to the tractor using a Category I or Category II three-point linkage, depending on configuration. This mounting system provides stable positioning during grinding operations.
