Engine & drive

The FSI D30 Track uses a Kubota 1305 water-cooled diesel engine rated at 25 hp / 18.5 kW. Because diesel torque arrives low in the rev range, it delivers strong grinding performance while keeping fuel use sensible on longer jobs. FSI also pairs the machine with its serviceable power-clutch and a V-belt cutter wheel drive for controlled, efficient power transfer.

Counter-rotating hydraulic tracks give the machine strong traction and excellent manoeuvrability on slopes, soft ground, and awkward terrain. As a result, the grinder travels confidently to stumps that wheeled machines may struggle to reach.

Cutting head

The FSI D30 Track uses a 467 mm cutter wheel with the FSI 25 tooth system and 8 teeth. In addition, the cutting head uses hydraulic sweep movement, so the operator can remove material in a controlled side-to-side motion. That helps maintain steady progress without overcomplicating the machine.

Work area is strong for a machine of this size. It reaches about 84 cm above ground level, around 35 to 40 cm below ground level, and offers a 152 cm sweep. Therefore, it suits professional stump removal where access matters but capacity still needs to stay high.

Frame / chassis / build

The tracked chassis gives the machine its biggest advantage. FSI quotes a transport width of about 760 mm, while the retractable tracks can extend to around 1150 mm for added stability in work mode. Consequently, the grinder can pass through narrow access points and then widen for better footing at the stump.

The machine measures about 2740 mm long, 1220 mm high, and weighs roughly 970 kg. In addition, FSI includes multiple accessible lashing and lifting points, integrated toolbox storage, LED work lights, and an optional dozer blade with extensions. Comfort & controls

A swing-out operator panel gives full control of travel and grinding functions while also improving visibility of the work area. Because the panel moves with the operator, it helps keep the cutting zone in view during grinding. FSI also fits a safety bar that disengages the cutter wheel when released, which adds another layer of operator protection.

The FSI D30 Track also offers an optional FSI power-sweep system. As a result, operators can reduce engine and drivetrain stress while maintaining smoother sweep performance on heavier workloads.
