The machine features hydraulic 4-wheel drive, which significantly improves traction compared with 2WD machines. As a result, it performs well on slopes, wet ground, and uneven terrain where extra grip is essential.

Because the drive system is fully hydraulic, movement remains smooth and controlled. In addition, operators can position the machine precisely when working around larger stumps or confined areas.

Deck / working head

The FSI B38 4WD uses a large cutter wheel fitted with the FSI 25 tooth system, designed for aggressive cutting and efficient chip removal.

Hydraulic sweep and lift functions control the cutter head. Therefore, the operator can grind across a wide area without constantly repositioning the machine.

The cutting system provides a strong working range, reaching approximately 80 cm above ground level and around 40–45 cm below ground level. Consequently, the machine removes both surface stumps and deeper root systems effectively.
