Engine & drive

The Först Cadet 6TR uses a Briggs & Stratton Vanguard 23hp V Twin petrol engine. Because this engine is matched to a compact tracked machine, it delivers reliable performance while keeping the overall unit lightweight and easy to handle.

The machine features a hydraulic tracked drive system, which allows smooth and controlled movement across site. As a result, operators can work effectively on slopes, uneven terrain, and restricted-access areas.

Deck / working head

The Först Cadet 6TR features a feed roller aperture of 6” x 8” / 150 mm x 200 mm. Because of this opening, it is designed to handle standard 6-inch brash and timber efficiently.

It uses the FörstGrip Feed Roller System with twin horizontal hydraulic rollers, which helps pull material into the cutting chamber smoothly. As a result, feeding remains controlled and consistent.

The machine is fitted with an open top flywheel (640 x 25 mm) with twin 8” blades. Therefore, it produces a clean and consistent chip output.

Frame / chassis / build

The Först Cadet 6TR is built with robust GRP panels and a strong fabricated chassis, designed to maintain durability while keeping weight down.

The tracked undercarriage improves ground contact and stability. As a result, the machine performs confidently on uneven or soft terrain while maintaining manoeuvrability.

The Först Cadet 6TR uses fully water and vibration proof touch button controls, allowing operators to control feed and reverse functions easily.
