The ARBMAX F30 12″ Disc Tracked Wood Chipper is built for small to medium forestry, site clearance and professional tree surgery where productivity and reliability really matter. With a 12″ capacity, aggressive feed system and tracked undercarriage, the ARBMAX F30 12″ Disc Tracked Wood Chipper is designed to keep working in demanding environments, not just on easy driveways.

Power Options and High-Output Chipping

At its core, the ARBMAX F30 12″ Disc Tracked Wood Chipper offers a choice of modern Stage V diesel engines: a Deutz 2.9L 55kW (75hp) unit or an uprated CAT C3.6 100kW (134hp) package. As a result, you can match the chipper’s power to your fleet and workload, from arb teams to more intensive biomass and forestry operations.

The fully machined disc is set at 50° to boost bite and ejection, so the machine chips cleanly even when material is awkward. In practice, this configuration helps the F30 achieve a throughput of around 50m³ per hour, assuming well-organised feeding and suitable material.

Aggressive Feed System and Wide Hopper

Because feed performance drives productivity, the ARBMAX F30 12″ Disc Tracked Wood Chipper uses high-torque vertical feed wheels and a carefully designed infeed chamber. The feed opening of 330 x 310mm accepts timber up to 12″ class, while the wide hopper opening of 1320 x 800mm lets you present brash and branches without constant trimming.

Hydraulically controlled roller pressure keeps material moving, and integrated stop bars plus independent E-stop buttons support safe hand-feeding. Therefore, operators can feed the F30 confidently while still maintaining safe working practice.

Tracked Undercarriage for Tough Sites

This version of the ARBMAX F30 12″ Disc Tracked Wood Chipper sits on a heavy-duty tracked undercarriage with approximately 2m x 300mm rubber tracks and a 5-tonne track set. Consequently, it will travel over rough ground, soft rides and uneven forestry tracks where towed chippers struggle. The tracked chassis also improves stability when you position the machine on gradients or uneven verges.

With a tracked weight around 3,800kg, the F30 still remains compact enough for access-focused work while offering the mass and strength you expect from a serious 12″ chipper.

Robust Build, Hardox Chamber and Service Access

To cope with demanding use, the ARBMAX F30 12″ Disc Tracked Wood Chipper uses a Hardox® chipping chamber with oversized premium bearings, adjustable knives and three anvils. This heavy-duty structure resists wear and impact, so the machine stays in shape over long-term use rather than flexing or distorting.

In addition, a pivoting feed chamber door gives excellent access to knives, anvils and the chipping area. Because of this feature, routine inspections, cleaning and knife changes are much quicker, which reduces downtime and encourages operators to keep the chipper properly maintained.

Control System, Discharge and Options

The ARBMAX F30 12″ Disc Tracked Wood Chipper includes a high-definition 4.3″ HMI screen that provides clear machine information and intuitive control icons. As a result, operators can quickly understand system status and adjust functions without guesswork.

The discharge chute features removable wear liners, hydraulic slew and adjustment, and a hydraulic deflector flap, so you can direct chip into bins, trailers or onto the floor with precision. Furthermore, optional extras such as a radio multifunction remote, mounted crane options, reversible cooling fan, lighting and custom paint allow you to tailor the F30 to your exact operation.
