New Valentini Apache 2.5m Forestry Mulcher / Tiller with Hydrualic Rear Roller – Work at 15cm below ground level on ground with stumps and 25cm below ground level on rolling ground. All models feature a 635mm diameter reinforced rotor capable of working up to a maximum of 250mm deep. On the 540rpm models, depth is adjusted by mechanical skids whereas on the larger 1000rpm models feature hydraulic skids. In addition, the rotor is driven by oil immersed gears. As a result very little power is lost through the drive train. High strength steels such as Hardox and Domex are used extensively in the construction of the machines. As a result, this gives the machines a superior resistance to wear and consequently a long working life. High quality bearings are used on all shafts. Protection is provided to these by Valentini’s own Labyrinth seals.
