The M 400 is the intermediate model between the M 300 and the M 500. It stands level and stationary thanks to its 4 wheels (of which 2 can pivot and tip), just like its big brother, the M 500.
The Vanguard 18 Hp engine is equipped with a manual as well as an electric start system. The Honda 20 Hp is equipped only with an electric start system. The infeed hopper has been designed 100 mm wider to allow for even larger volumes of branches.
